Hello Everyone! Our first group walk of the year on March 20 was greyt fun and very well attended considering the weather forecast (for the first day of spring) scared a few of us away. Our walk along the Glenmore reservoir turned out to be very pleasant and we were glad to meet a few new hound friends among the group who were there. Welcome to Chantelle, adopted through a rescue group in Mexico, who brought her family out for the first time. We hope to see her again as she becomes acclimatized to life in Calgary. Easter Sunday, April 17th, is our next group walk. Anticipating a busy day in the parks because of Easter, we are going to head to the south end of Fish Creek Park and around Sikome Lake where we will find ample parking and lots of room for the group to spread out. We will meet in the boat launch parking lot at high noon. Please join us if you can!
