Zero is a sweet, friendly red girl born on November 2, 2012. She likes to please her people, so she learns quickly. she has nice leash manners and crates well.
White racing Zero suffered a left hock (rear leg) fracture. This should not affect enjoyment of a normal pet life. Glucosamine supplementation may help in the coming years. At the time of her dental, Zero had a lot of her back teeth removed due to dental disease. Home dental care will be important in preserving the teeth she has left. It will be important to feed her softened food.
Zero did fairly well in cat testing, but has never lived with a cat. Use a muzzle initially, and closely monitor all interactions. When unable to monitor the interaction, some form of physical barrier should be used, i.e., crating.
Zero interacted fairly well with the other Greyhounds and the small dogs she met. White she does fine in casual meetings, Zero can be a bit dominant with other dogs – especially females – after she stays with them. If you add another dog to the household, a male would be best.
