Finn was surrendered to NCGL through no fault of his own; the family just couldn’t care for him anymore. They were sad to see him go but are doing what is best for him. They asked for photos and we will do that once he is settled in his forever home, following his neuter surgery and dental.
Finn was born on April 15, 2015 in Ireland, coming to Canada in July 2017. He is one of the most calm and cool guys we’ve seen in a long time. Hopped in the car with no help, immediately settled down for the ride, taking it all in stride. He had a short walk on leash before his vet appointment, and walks on a loose leash perfectly, no pulling or wandering except to do business.
Upon arrival at the vet office to get his vaccines and exam, he met Duke the cat who greets all dogs that arrive at the clinic – a couple of nose-to-nose sniffs and it was over…. even when the cat jumped up on the high counter, Finn showed no interest whatsoever. While we were paying for his exam and vaccines, Finn decided to jump onto the only armchair in the waiting room and have a little snooze while he waited….. the staff took advantage of the opportunity for a perfect photo shoot!
There will be more updates on this boy from his foster family….. we expect it will only get better and continue to be all good news on this guy!
