White Star is a Lower Mainland hound who came to us in August. He is affectionate with his foster and great with other Greyhounds but can be reactive on-leash when he sees other dogs. This may be from a lack of socializing with dogs other than Greyhounds. His foster says that will wag his tail when seeing passing dogs through the front fence but can become focused and bark at other dogs when walking. He has interacted with neighbourhood kids on a few occasions and he’s been calm and comfortable with them around and petting him
His foster is working with him and seeing slow improvement, but White Star will need an experienced owner who can work with him to learn how to be part of the larger dog world.
White Star has a vet follow-up then scheduling for his neutering before looking for his forever home
