This big guy (80 lbs.) was born in Ireland on April 15, 2014. He came to Canada and has been living in the Fraser Valley on a farm. Unfortunately he broke his leg and has been recuperating the past year or so. He was surrendered to NCGL through no fault of his own and is now being fostered by NCGL.
Pacino is very good with children and does really well with other Greyhounds. He will be cat and small dog tested by his foster family during his stay. So far, he appears to be a very sweet boy, likes to see what’s going on and enjoys attention. He did well on stairs and bare floors.
He started his vaccinations today (03May17) and appointments have been made for his neuter surgery, microchip and final shots. The vet reported that “whoever did the surgery on his broken leg did a fine job.” Pacino will be available for adoption following his surgery recovery, in approximately 2-1/2 weeks.
