This is Marlo. He is a Lower Mainland hound surrendered to NCGL in June and is staying with a foster in Victoria at present. He is on medical hold until after his neutering then he will be ready for his new forever home.

His foster says that Marlo has completed his ‘Inside Dog 101’ and is good with her pack which includes two Greyhounds and two small dogs, ruled by a Dachshund.

He loves his walks and is good on the lead. At home, he is very cuddly and will happily sleep on the bed at night if allowed but will go on his dog bed when asked.

Marlo can be a bit stubborn, but a soft voice will encourage him to do things “on his terms.” He loves treats though sometimes with a little too much enthusiasm. Especially if it is favourite – watermelon.

Marlo is good with children and would do well in a house with another dog but would not do well with cats. Squirrels are also in the ‘no go zone’ for this hound.
