Ashley, born on December 4, 2013, is a happy, friendly girl. She is always looking for an adventure, so she’ll keep you entertained! Watch her closely in the house initially as she may not know what’s hers and what’s not. She enjoys rawhide bones.

Ashley did well in cat testing, but has never lived with a cat. Use a muzzle initially and closely monitor all interactions. Being a young dog, Ashley will be inclined to chase the cats when they run. If the behaviour is strongly and consistently discouraged, it will improve in time.

Ashley interacted well with the other Greyhounds and responded well when meeting Jack Russell Terriers. Caution should always be exercised, especially outdoors.

Ashley is a SUPER adorable fun little 3 year old female looking for a home to call her own. Ashley loves playing with shoes and stuffies but most of all she LOVES her people! Ashley needs a home where her playful loving self can shine. Because she loves people so much she sometimes cries when they leave so we feel Ashley would do best in a detached living situation so she doesn’t annoy your condo neighbor when you’re away.

Ashley tested well with cats (but hasn’t been around cats with us yet) and small dogs and is doing well with her Greyhound foster brother Kairo… she can sometimes be a bit pushy and will need someone to let her know what the rules are and that not all the toys are for her.

Ashley is hoping to find her forever home ASAP so she can wiggle her cute little black butt into her forever family’s heart!
