Update: Our sweet boy has been returned to foster care….for no other reason than, he is struggling to be left alone in the house. To know him, is to love him. He is almost perfect in so many ways. He is extremely smart and affectionate, but he needs a home where people have the time and flexibility to support him learning to be confident when left. Do you work from home? Do you have the ability to teach Teddy you are coming back? He has gained so many skills in such a short time, we know he can get there, he just needs a bit of time. We think he can be on his own, but if you have another hound or dog, that could work. He is currently in foster with multiple other dogs. He’s not really into playing, but he does take cues from other dogs. We can not say anything other than this guy is a total love bug. Teddy is neutered and ready to steal your heart…and your couch 🙂
This is Teddy. He is another of our Lower Mainland surrenders. Formerly Black Top, Teddy is a big boy but an easy-going pup. He walks well and while he shows a lot of curiosity about new surroundings, he is happy to be close. Teddy travels in the car without any anxiety but is still learning about jumping in and out. He gets on with other dogs and is currently fostered in a home with three Greyhounds and a Dachshund.
Teddy is on medical hold while we get his vet needs (neuter, vaccinations and such), but if you are interested in knowing more about Teddy, please email adoptbc4ncgl@gmail.com.
