Dolly is a beautiful dark brown brindle, born on April 2, 2018. She was born in Calgary, AB and came out west to join her new family when she was just a puppy. Her family can no longer take care of her and asked NCGL to find her a forever home.

She walks reasonably well on leash and jumped up eagerly to go for a car ride – she didn’t know where she was going, she just wanted a car ride. There was another Greyhound passenger and she was quite bossy with him when he tried to make room for himself to lie down. She definitely is confident with a dominant personality. We will monitor this behaviour to see how she settles in her new home.

Oops – just in! Dolly brought gifts for all the dogs…..fleas! Yikes – not off to a good start. We’ll get that under control quickly….

Foster update 2019-09-26

Dolly is amazing. She is calm and gentle and good as gold. So far sleeping beautifully all night in her crate. No accidents, no issues at all.

Slowly learning not to counter surf.

She is absolutely rock solid with the little dogs.

She was perfect for her bath and nails/ears.

She is very sensitive so very easy to correct. She just wants to please. Loves people. Glued to our sides. Super friendly and greets all my clients at the gate.
