Very shy and reserved but loving. John needs a quiet home with people who will allow him to open up when he’s ready. He is quietly sneaking up to be petted but sudden movements or loud noises make him hide in his kennel. John is scared of linoleum but learning to live with it. He is NOT good with cats.

Foster update: John is settling down very nicely. He has chosen Reign as his role
model, a very good choice, and copies him every minute of the day. John has learned to come for petting and/or a treat when we call his name. He can meet other dogs, large and small, on the street and do very well.

So far he is VERY AFRAID of small children. Probably the energy level, who knows. By next week we may have conquered that too.
